Fathers & Sons is the 4th episode in the series.

Synopsis[]

Bill receives some distressing news, and Frank takes on a different type of danger. A part of Alice’s murky past comes into focus.

Plot[]

Griffin and his gang went by a house full of sick people. The girl taking care of the sick, also looking sick, mistook Griffin for a priest and asked him to pray for them. He stayed and helped the girl with the work, while still not revealing his true identity.

Mary-Agnes thought Ms. Dunne cheated on her, which resulted in their fighting.

Roy, Truckee and Iyovi went hunting and found a mail carriage drown in the woods' river. Truckee wanted to learn how to use guns but Roy refused to teach him. In the end, Iyovi caught a deer.

At home, Alice recalled the time when she was washed away. She, along with other Indians, had been caught and threatened by a group of people, only to be rescued by Bill and his wife Anna McNue.

Whitey and Louise went to the river to fetch water. Louise kissed Whitey and was caught by her dad, who then angrily asked Whitey to leave and took Louise home to severely punish her. Whitey saw that, raged, and decided to shoot him. However, Roy accidentally passed by and stopped him, for which he later thanked Roy.

Grigg, the journalist, arrived at La Belle to find Roy Goode.

Bill met the strange Indian man again. The man told him Griffin and his gang went south and Bill decided to continue to follow them. Unfortunately, he was caught. Griffin was about to kill Bill, but saw the Indian, shook, wished Bill luck and ordered his gang to leave. Bill looked at the Indian man, confused.
