Cook's Deputy is a character in the Netflix Limited Series of Godless. He is a portrayed by Monty Stuart.
Biography[]
The Deputy is a member of Marshal John Cook's posse when he arrives at the aftermath of the massacre in Creede. The lawmen see the dead bodies of the men, women and children that were killed by Frank Griffin and his men. The lawmen ride to where the derailed payroll train is and they see the dead bodies of the train passengers.
He then calls out to the Marshal and points to a young boy that's hanging from the water tower. Marshal Cook sinks to his knees when he sees the boy.
Physical Appearance[]
Cook's Deputy is a middle aged man with a tough looking appearance. He wears typical trail clothing, a bandana and a wide brimmed hat. Cook's Deputy wears a lawman's badge pinned to his vest, like the rest of Cook's posse.
